The Roadmap to Reduce Food Waste Forum, co-hosted by national organization ReFED and Stanford’s FEED (Food Entrepreneurship Education Design) Collaborative, aimed to advance the national dialogue on scalable solutions to reduce food waste. The half-day event featured expert panel discussions that highlighted specific solutions and the policy actions, innovations, financing mechanisms, and educational tools needed to put these solutions into action.

As part of the forum, ReFED launched the Roadmap to Reduce Food Waste, the first-ever national economic study of food waste developed by a multi-stakeholder group to create a roadmap for action. The roadmap highlights opportunities for reducing food waste in the United States and represents the collaborative efforts of over 30 business, nonprofit, and government leaders. The event also featured a showcase of technology innovations.
