Hundreds of students came together at Earthfest to celebrate Stanford students’ sustainability initiatives. The festival, organized each year by Students for a Sustainable Stanford, aims to engage new students in the university sustainability culture. Over a dozen student organizations welcomed attendees with games, food, information booths, and live music from Camp Youth and Real People Music.

Earthfest was strategically scheduled during both Earth Week and Admit Weekend, when prospective students are invited to visit campus before making final enrollment decisions. By introducing prospective students to Stanford’s sustainability opportunities, Earthfest supports continued engagement in future undergraduate cohorts and emphasizes sustainability as a priority at Stanford.
