Connecting the Dots is an annual symposium hosted by the Precourt Institute for Energy and the TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy that focuses on the connections and interactions among food, energy, water, and their effects on climate and conflict.

This year’s event focused primarily on the food component and dove into the ways in which these resources each contribute to issues in that field, with discussions about how leaders can make decisions that have positive benefits across the spectrum of related fields. Leaders from a number of institutes across campus presented, with a Keynote address from the Secretary of California Department of Food and Agriculture, Karen Ross.
