The Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment hosted its inaugural Business of Sustainability Summit, engaging a diverse cohort of 54 CEOs, chief sustainability officers, and business unit heads from 47 companies, along with Woods fellows representing all seven Stanford schools. The event was convened to stimulate cross-sector dialogue, build valuable connections, and allow business leaders and Woods researchers, who are innovative pioneers in sustainability, to share knowledge, discuss needs, and identify priorities for future study. Stanford experts shared their latest findings and discussed solutions-oriented research with business leaders working to advance corporate sustainability.
