Jeffrey Koseff, Perry L. McCarty Director of the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, received the Richard W. Lyman Award for his extraordinary service to the alumni community and Stanford Alumni Association programs. Koseff has participated in countless events around the world engaging alumni, parents, and students. He has led Travel/Study trips as far away as Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand and has spoken to vacationing alumni at Sierra Camp, captivated alumni celebrating their reunions at Classes without Quizzes, traveled around the nation speaking to alumni clubs, and captured the attention of scores of alumni at premier programs like Leading Matters and Think Again.

Koseff is an alumnus of Stanford, where he earned a master’s degree (1978) and a doctorate (1983), both in civil and environmental engineering and water resources engineering.
