The School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences, the Stanford Energy Club, and the Career Development Center hosted a career fair at the Student Union during fall term to connect students with public and private-sector organizations pursuing environmental initiatives in the energy, conservation, and/or sustainability sectors. This is one of the Career Development Center’s smallest niche fairs, designed to specifically introduce organizations focused on clean technology that are seeking candidates from the Earth sciences at Stanford.

More than 200 students participated in the event on October 15. The fair featured the following local, national, and international organizations: Aerial intelligence, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Chevron, Energy Solutions, ExxonMobil Corporation, Halliburton, Navigant Consulting, Ramboll Environ US Corporation, Shell Oil Company, and Slighten.
